>Lesson learnt – buy locally

>I’ve now learnt my lesson & will always try to buy stuff from within the UK if possible. I had bought a subscription to Interweave Knits in March direct from their website. No sign of the Spring issue by the end of April so I emailed & was assured that I would receive it by the 14th of May. Nothing arrived. So I emailed them again & this time was told that they would resend the Summer issue but Spring had sold out!!!

So I’ve given up & have bought the Summer issue from Tess at Angel Yarns. I ordered it yesterday afternoon & it was waiting for me when I got home from work today – Thanks Tess.

Unfortunately they didn’t have any Spring issues left but I then did some searching this morning & bought a copy from Wingham Wool Work.

The only downfall is that I don’t get the password for the extra bits on the Interweave Knits website. At least if I buy something in the UK & it doesn’t arrive I can chase it with a phone call rather than wait days for an email reply.

Now I need to find someone with Vogue Knitting in stock……
